London
GREEN FAIR 9/10th June

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP AT LONDON'S LARGEST GREEN EVENT OF 2012

What would you do if you were offered a space at an established event with exposure to almost 20,000 people? Well, that's what the London Permaculture Green Fair events team is contemplating. How do we engage as many people as we can with how Permaculture thinking can help us through the maze of living sustainably on the planet? If you can offer talks or other sorts of interesting ways of engaging & interacting with permaculture - using art, performance and/or hands-on workshops, or just fancy being part of the team that delivers the Permaculture Zone contact us at fair@LondonPermaculture.com
or for more information as it comes along go to www.LondonPermaculture.com/green-fair/

2. Reflect on Festival. – Next Steps?

3.Reflection on answer to question set:

How has the notion of a network been seen as beneficial to us, why do we want one what would it be doing?

Realize a London Permaculture identity, that we can articulate to us and anyone,  who and what we are, what we do, and what we can achieve collectively.(this will be a good exercise for us anyway-

and be able to communicate what we have to offer London.

4. Proposals from 4th September:

1) A link on website to The Groups Aims and Objectives on line? To discuss

2) A PDF booklet to download explaining who we are & what we do. A brief description of what and who we are and what we have to offer to:

Community. Local government, environmental departments, educational departments, transition groups and any one else in London who wants to find out what permaculture is.

Action: Who would do this?

What are our next steps?:

          •    Develop clarity in collective vision and governance

          •    need clarity about the functions of a network

          •    Get better at information sharing especially relating to courses

          •    Physical space – pop up shop

          •    How to get paid admin post

          •    Decide membership paid or not?

          •    Develop communication and community

          •    There are questions about where energies should go.

          •    Make more connections within network and with other networks

          •    Ensure group structure is viable

          •    Develop a map of London with a database with details of designers
